Privacy and cookie policy
This policy explains how the personal data of visitors to villaalimunera.it and of anyone requesting a booking are processed, in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Data controller
The data controller is Ospitalità Nebrodi S.r.l., VAT no. 03151830837, with registered office at Contrada Baracche 40, SS116, 94, 98074 Naso (ME), Italy.
For any request concerning the processing of your data, you can write to: prenotazioni@villaalimunera.it.
2. What data we collect
- Data you provide when you request a booking or contact us: first and last name, email address, phone number, dates of stay, number of guests and any messages or special requests.
- Guest data required by law on arrival, such as identity document details, which we are required to report to the public security authorities.
- Browsing data collected automatically by the website (IP address, browser type, pages visited), needed for technical operation and security.
3. Why we process it and on what legal basis
- Managing your booking request and your stay (pre-contractual measures and performance of the contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Complying with legal obligations, including tax and accounting obligations and reporting guest data to the authorities (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Replying to your requests sent by email or phone (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Ensuring the security and proper functioning of the website (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Providing the data needed for a booking is mandatory: without it we cannot handle your request.
4. Who it may be shared with
Data may be processed by service providers that help us run the website and manage bookings, acting as data processors (for example the hosting provider and the email service provider). Card payments are handled by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.), which processes card data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy: we never see or store your full card details. It may be disclosed to public authorities where required by law. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for profiling or advertising.
Calendar synchronisation with Airbnb only exchanges availability dates, not your personal data.
5. How long we keep it
We keep data for as long as needed to manage the booking and the stay, and then for the period required by law (for example tax and accounting obligations, generally ten years). Messages that do not lead to a booking are kept only as long as strictly necessary to reply.
6. Your rights
At any time you can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing, by writing to prenotazioni@villaalimunera.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
7. Cookies

This website uses technical cookies that are necessary for it to work, for example to remember your chosen language and to manage the booking session. These cookies do not require your consent.
Third-party, analytics and marketing cookies
The website currently does not use profiling cookies or analytics tools that require consent. If we introduce them in the future, we will update this page and ask for your consent through a dedicated notice.

8. External links
The website contains links to external websites, such as Google Maps, which we do not manage and for which we are not responsible. Please read their respective policies.
9. Updates
